Qualifications- Valid RN State License
- PEL with School Nurse endorsement (required)
- Certified School Nurse (CSN) credentials highly preferred
- Previous experience as a school nurse or in pediatric healthcare settings
- Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills
- Perform comprehensive student health evaluations onsite as needed
- Keep accurate and confidential health records in accordance with school policies
- Administer medications, provide first aid, and deliver care during daily incidents
- Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and external healthcare providers
- Educate students and staff on health management, prevention, and wellness topics
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the school environment
- Flexible per diem scheduling work only as needed for student evaluations
