Automotive Accounting Clerk

Join our growing team! We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support the business office of our busy automotive dealership. • Post and reconcile daily accounting transactions (sales, service, parts, warranty, etc.)
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices and payments as needed
• Reconcile and balance schedules, including bank statements, floorplan, and general ledger accounts as needed
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed
• Ensure accuracy of financial data entered into the accounting system (e.g., CDK)
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes
• Support the office team with administrative duties as needed
• Comply with company policies and accounting best practices

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred)
• 2+ year of accounting or bookkeeping experience (automotive dealership experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) preferred (e.g., CDK)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
