Position Overview

A growing company is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities.

This is a newly created position designed to strengthen the accounting team and support continued business growth.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
Maintain fixed asset schedules
Support inventory accounting processes
Prepare supporting schedules and financial analyses
Assist with financial reporting and account analysis
Work within large ERP environments and accounting systems
Collaborate with accounting leadership on projects and initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience
Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience
General ledger accounting knowledge
Excel proficiency required
Ability to work independently and solve problems
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

SAP or large ERP system experience
Inventory accounting exposure
Fixed asset experience
Manufacturing, distribution, or multi-location environment experience
