- Diagnose and repair cooling‑system concerns, tune‑ups, belts, hoses, and fluid‑exchange services.
- Complete thorough scheduled maintenance and digital multipoint inspections to identify worn or unsafe components.
- Safely diagnose common mechanical and drivability concerns using scan tools and digital shop software.
- Document inspection findings accurately and communicate additional repair needs clearly to the service advisors.
- Perform thorough road tests and final quality checks, supporting General Service and developing technicians when needed.
- Experience: Professional automotive repair experience at a proven B‑Level or equivalent skill level in a commercial shop.
- Capability: Ability to independently perform brakes, suspension, steering, alignments, and routine mechanical repairs from start to finish.
- Tools: Complete set of professional automotive hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment appropriate for the position.
- Schedule Flexibility:
Mandatory availability to work a 5‑day schedule of 10‑hour shifts, including rotating Sundays. - Credentials: Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required to safely road‑test customer vehicles.
