Role PurposeEmployee will serve as the Process Technician, providing technical support for manufacturing processes within all process areas at the Phoenix site, including but not limited to CNC, wet processes, and assembly. This role requires considerable judgment and initiative in resolving complex problems and making recommendations. They may determine methods and procedures on new assignments and provide guidance to other personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Provide real-time technical support and develop, optimize, and validate processes for operations. Collaborate with other stakeholders to implement and improve processes, including training of operators on new SOPs, tooling, and fixturing.
- Design, manufacture, and implement custom fixturing and tooling. Maintain accurate records of tooling and fixturing drawings. Analyze data and apply logical reasoning to solve complex machining problems.
- Lead prototype process development and execution.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and provide guidance and support to other personnel in the team.
- AAS or equivalent 2‑year technical degree, or high school diploma with 7+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with drafting tools, GD&T, technical writing, automation and control systems, Lean Methodology, AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 standards.
- Experience with MS 365, Solid Works, ERP and MES systems.
- Disciplined problem solving skills; expertise in root cause and corrective action, Six Sigma, DMAIC principles, and statistical process control.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work outside of role to support team goals.
- Strong communication skills.
The range for this position is $69,966.00 – $96,203.00 assuming full‑time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including geographic location, market demand, experience, training, and education.
