The LPN Faculty position is responsible for coordination, instructing, planning, assessing and evaluating students in didactic, lab, and clinical settings, in remote and face to face environments, and in classroom, simulation and clinical settings for all topics encompassing the LPN curriculum. The work schedule varies but may include teaching on weekends and/or evenings. Performs all other duties as directed by the Nursing Department Chair, Dean of Instruction, or College President or designee.

• Coordinates, oversees and instructs students in classroom, clinical, and/or lab setting
• Assesses skills mastery of students
• Develops written syllabi/course outlines and course materials;
• Evaluates student learning through formative and summative assessment
• Prepares and grades exams and other measures of assessment;
• Develops and enhances knowledge of subject matter taught and skills required to remain current with new trends and developments in the field through attendance at conferences, courses, seminars, and/or workshops
• Maintains office hours to assist and advise students
• Engages in the academic life of the college by participating in District wide and campus committees, including accreditation.
