Electro-Optical Technician​/RF Test Technician

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking an Electro-Optical Technician/RF Test Technician for our client in the Manufacturing domain. Salary:$25.00/Hourly

Role: Electro-Optical Technician/RF Test Technician

The Electro‑Optical Technician/RF Test Technician must have 2‑3 years of experience. We are looking for an experienced RF Test Technician to work in a lab environment testing RF connectors and components. This role involves hands‑on RF testing, setting up test equipment, running electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests, and preparing test reports.

You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent military technical training
• 3 years of relevant hands‑on experience

• 2‑3 years of experience as an RF Test Technician
• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and coaxial transmission
• Knowledge of impedance, insertion loss, return loss, and time‑domain testing
• Experience building and troubleshooting test setups
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings (SCDs)
• Basic understanding of mechanical and environmental testing
• Good documentation skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
• Strong communication skills

• Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)
• Spectrum Analyzer
• Signal Generators and Amplifiers

Education: Associates Degree

Experience: Minimum 2‑3 years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
