Site Controller (Aerospace Sector)

The Site Controller is responsible for leading all accounting and financial operations for the location, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and ethical management of financial data in accordance with GAAP, FAR, and CAS standards. This position plays a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

You’ll oversee the core functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Budgeting, Financial Planning, Internal Controls (SOX), and Reporting
, while managing a team of accounting professionals and partnering closely with site and divisional leadership.

• Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
• Analyze financial performance versus objectives and communicate results to leadership.
• Oversee internal controls to maintain compliance with corporate policies, FAR, CAS, and SOX.
• Direct all location-level accounting activities and manage the integrity of financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and monitor pricing rates in compliance with government regulations.
• Partner with operational and divisional leaders to drive proactive financial planning and forecasting.
• Lead the annual budgeting and planning process for the site.
• Manage and develop accounting staff; establish training, performance, and succession plans.
• Support special projects and strategic financial analysis as requested by leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Proven ability to implement and maintain internal controls and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
