We are currently seeking a temporary (12 weeks) SLPA for our Glendale clinic location. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position with a fixed schedule.
Role Overview- Provide direct treatment and care for clients following treatment plans and protocols developed by the Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Plan and implement client‑centered treatment activities and tasks to support skill development and progress towards established treatment goals
- Collect data and document progress towards established treatment goals
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP and parents/caregivers to support the therapeutic process and client progress
- Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 20 credit hours of speech-language pathology technical coursework
- Active speech‑language pathology assistant license through Arizona Department of Health Services
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities
- Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills and knowledge
- Positive and professional demeanor, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required
- Bilingualism is a plus!
This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
