This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist with experience in retail and mail order pharmacy, offering a contract-to-hire position based in Glendale, AZ. This role emphasizes supervising pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Supervise pharmacy technicians in compounding, filling, labeling prescriptions, and prepackaging bulk medications.
• Clarify prescriptions or refill authorizations, perform final prescription checks, and oversee compounding processes.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, pharmaceutical quality, and potency.
• Adhere to USP guidelines, Board of Pharmacy rules, and relevant regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or pharmacy leadership.

• Current Arizona Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Familiarity with pharmacy laws, policies, and procedures in Arizona.
• Experience with non-sterile and sterile compounding, including capsules, oral liquids, injectables, topicals, nasal preparations, suppositories, troches, and tablet triturates.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in multiple states if needed.
