We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. Over the years, we've grown tremendously in size, scope and capability, building a home in new markets over time, and curating those homes to provide a compassionate environment for those entrusting us with their care.

Today, we are leading health system and services platform that continues to evolve in lockstep with community need. Tenet's operations include three businesses - our hospitals and physicians, USPI and Conifer Health Solutions. The work Conifer is doing will help provide the foundation for better health for clients across the country, through the delivery of healthcare-focused revenue cycle management and value-based care solutions.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echocardiography Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. This role is responsible for performing high-quality echo cardiographic studies across a variety of modalities—including standard ECHO, M-mode, 2D imaging, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, and Stress ECHO—and for assisting Cardiologists in the diagnostic process. The ideal candidate brings strong pediatric and/or neonatal imaging experience and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

• Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Schedule, prepare, and position patients—ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication.
• Capture, analyze, and report high-quality diagnostic images for Cardiologist interpretation.
• Recognize and document cardiac abnormalities during imaging with accuracy and clinical proficiency.
• Provide excellent patient and family support, demonstrating strong customer service skills.
• Collaborate effectively with Cardiologists, nursing staff, and fellow technologists.

Education

• Graduate of an approved ARDMS-accredited program.

Experience

• Pediatric, NICU, or neonatal echocardiography experience required.
• Prior experience performing echo cardiographic studies under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.

Certifications/Licensure (Required)

• Echo cardiographic Technician Certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Certification

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer).
