Job Summary

Position:
Behavior Intervention Specialist (Behavior Therapist / RBT) – Full‑time

Location:

1936 Heritage Branch, Wake Forest, NC 27587

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (occasionally Saturday for patient needs)

Start date:

Immediate openings available.

• Work one‑on‑one with children aged 18 months to 8 years using play‑based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans, collect simple data, and communicate with your team.
• Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands‑on activities.
• Stay active during sessions, moving constantly to remain engaged with children.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe therapy space.
• Be part of a supportive mission‑driven team that celebrates progress and growth.

• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Sit, stand, crouch, squat, and move quickly with young children.
• Get on and off the floor frequently.
• Maintain an active pace throughout the day.
• Keep therapy spaces clean, organized, and safe.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Commitment to ABC’s core value of teamwork; may help support a nearby sister clinic if needed.

Pay is determined by education and ABA experience:

• High School/Associate’s Degree: $15.50 – $23.75 per hour.
• Bachelor’s Degree: $21.00 – $27.75 per hour.
• Master’s Degree: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour.

You will receive your first raise after obtaining your RBT certification! Most new hires complete this in about three weeks.
