Role:
Center Medical Specialist in plasma donation centers. Responsibilities Include
- Performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories to assess donor suitability.
- Building rapport with donors to ensure satisfaction and providing education on health and test results.
- Monitoring and managing donor injuries, adverse events, and potential hazards.
- Ensuring confidentiality of donors and staff.
- Evaluating donor health, assisting in employee training, and administering hepatitis vaccination programs.
- Licensed/certified as a Registered Nurse, LPN, Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT per state requirements.
- Current CPR certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and light lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination, hearing, and vision abilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to biological fluids, cold environments, and electrical equipment with appropriate PPE.
