In‑House Attorney – Epic – Madison, WI

Epic is seeking an exceptional attorney to join our Legal team in Madison, WI.

As an In‑House Attorney, you will support Epic’s growth as it expands its offerings and enters new global markets. Your responsibilities will include negotiating multi‑million dollar licenses and service agreements with renowned healthcare organizations worldwide, overseeing vendor and industry collaborations, ensuring compliance with existing and emerging legal frameworks in the U.S. and abroad, and managing litigation. Your level of responsibility will grow rapidly as you deepen your knowledge of our dynamic industry.

• Negotiate and draft enterprise‑level agreements and contracts.
• Forge and sustain relationships with vendors and industry collaborators.
• Advise on compliance with U.S. and international legal frameworks.
• Manage litigation and related risk management initiatives.
• Own challenging projects and drive continuous improvement in legal processes.

• Strong academic and professional background in law.
• Attention to detail, creative problem‑solving, and excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
• Flexibility and tenacity in solving complex legal and business challenges.
• Motivation to learn across a broad range of topics, including intellectual property, privacy, general corporate matters, employment issues, vendor relationships, and regulatory risk management.
• Relocation to Madison, WI required; full reimbursement and assistance provided.
