The ideal candidate is a strategic, execution-focused VP of Finance who will lead financial operations, shape long-term strategies, and partner with the CEO and Board to drive scalable growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive role is pivotal in ensuring financial excellence, operational rigor, and the success of key initiatives such as M&A, capital strategy, and systems transformation.

- Strategic Leadership & Growth
:
Partner with the CEO and Board to shape strategy; develop a 3-year financial model targeting 30%+ ARR growth; manage M&A due diligence and post-integration execution (potentially up to 1-2 deals annually). - Financial Operations & Performance
:
Oversee FP&A, deliver accurate forecasts and KPI-driven insights; manage accounting in GAAP compliance; optimize cash flow; lead a finance team of approximately 4–5 professionals. - Risk, Compliance & Governance
:
Maintain internal controls, mitigate financial and operational risks, lead audit readiness, ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions. - Cross-Functional Leadership & Investor Relations
:
Collaborate with Sales, CS, HR, and IT on pricing, workforce planning, and systems; deliver quarterly board presentations and manage investor/lender communications; manage key vendor relationships.
- Proven experience scaling a profitable B2B SaaS company from $30M to $50M+ ARR; government or government-adjacent clients experience a plus.
- Strong equity-backed experience with quarterly investor-facing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success leading M&A (deal execution and integration), with a track record of 1–2 deals.
- Proficiency with financial systems (Maxio and QB Online), CRM (Hub Spot), and analytics tools (Mosaic).
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA, MS, or CPA preferred.

Hybrid role based in Glendale, AZ near Arrowhead Mall, with 3 days on-site per week. 30-minute commute from downtown Scottsdale. Occasional travel for leadership offsites, board meetings or investor updates. - Compensation
