Manufacturing Production Manager

National Pump Company, a global leader in engineered pump solutions for municipal, industrial, and agricultural markets, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations (machining, assembly, warehouse, shipping & Receiving) at our Glendale, AZ facility. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement and team engagement.

• Lead and manage day-to-day production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with business goals and customer demand
• Supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly team members
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and operational excellence principles
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality/Safety
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed
• Support workforce planning, training, and performance management initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
• Proven experience managing teams, schedules, and production metrics
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and safety practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in pump manufacturing or heavy industrial equipment is a plus
