The organization empowers young people to confront daily risks and pressures, providing them with education, tools, and resources to make responsible choices. By fostering a supportive community, SADD is committed to equipping teens to navigate serious, life-altering decisions and ultimately saving lives.

SADD collaborates with schools and community leaders nationwide to promote healthier relationships and safer environments for youth.

Role Description

The Executive Director will lead and oversee the strategic growth, administration, and overall operations of SADD Nation. Responsibilities include fundraising, program implementation, financial management, stakeholder collaboration, staff leadership, and ensuring the organization meets its mission and goals. The Executive Director will act as the public face of SADD, fostering partnerships and advocating for the organization’s vision. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Glendale, AZ.

Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in nonprofit management, including strategic planning, program development, and organizational growth.
  • Expertise in fundraising, donor relations, and securing financial support from diverse sources, such as grants, sponsor ships, and partnerships.
  • Strong financial acumen with skills in budgeting, financial oversight, and fiscal responsibility.
  • Outstanding communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills to engage with stakeholders, partners, and the broader community.
  • Experience in advocacy, public affairs, or working with youth-focused organizations is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Commitment to the mission of empowering and supporting youth in making positive life choices.
