Job Details:

• Work in Intensive Care Unit with varied work schedule

• Weekend and holiday rotation required

• Possible call and float to support units

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients

• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs

• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care utilizing assessment data and patient/family input

• Coordinate care through delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities

• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed

• Document all nursing activities in patient records in accordance with policy

• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing care plans

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care

• Mentor and precept other nursing staff when appropriate

• Current valid RN license in state of practice required

• BLS certification required

• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required

• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Professional certification preferred

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
