** As a Level 1 Trauma Center, Banner Thunderbird Medical offers a fast paced, team work oriented environment.  We use the latest Robotic technology and with 4 Robotic operating rooms, we have become the busiest robotic program in the state. Our Main Operating Rooms boasts of 15 OR suites that care for level one trauma patients and provides care for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatrics with a variety of procedures being performed.

Services offered include but are not limited to: general cases, GYN, laparoscopic cases, ENT, plastics, podiatry, urology, robotics, cardiac/vascular, endovascular, neuro/spine, and orthopedics.

As an OR RN you will be part of a team with supportive leadership and a collaborative team of staff and doctors.  You will have opportunities to learn and grow your nursing skills within our Level 1 Trauma environment.  In addition, if you are interested in leadership opportunities you will have the chance to develop your leadership skills for promotion at Banner Thunderbird or within Banner Health.

POSITION SUMMARY  This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction.
