Job Description

The CVICU Nurse will provide critical care for patients undergoing cardiac surgery and procedures in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will assess patient needs, develop and implement appropriate care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment and care for critical patients in the CVICU.
• Collaborate with team members to establish and implement care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs and administer medications as needed.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 24 months minimum of current CVICU experience - Required.
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications - Required.
• No license hits.
• Flu vaccination status is required; declinations can be applied for.
