Position OverviewThe Training Program Coordinator will ensure compliance of the documented quality system to specified requirements (internal and external), promote and facilitate continuous improvement, and provide general support to the facility for the interpretation and application of internal and external quality program standards related to training.
This position is self‑directed (minimum supervision) and interacts with all management and production employees to maintain and improve the overall effectiveness of the quality training program.
Essential Functions- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of quality training systems.
- Schedule and perform internal audits of the quality training system as related to documented procedures, work instructions, and the ISO 9001 International Standard.
- Effectively report audit activities and results and perform comprehensive follow‑up of corrective action required pertaining to the quality training systems.
- Manage FAA/CAAC Training Program.
- Manage the Job Training Process.
- Maintain Training Reporting.
- Track past‑due and upcoming training.
- Manage and lead the Training Committee.
- Manage the Train the Trainer Committee.
- Report to Management and review the status and effectiveness of the quality training system indicators such as expired courses, evaluation feedback, the effectiveness of training, cost of poor training, etc.
- Manage the Customer Complaint and other corrective/preventive action programs as related to training.
- Assist resolution teams with corrective/preventive actions related to human factors.
- Maintenance, control, update, and distribution of quality system documentation.
- Provide support and guidance to facility personnel in the interpretation of and compliance to the ISO 9001 International Standard.
- Education requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree is required. - RAB or ASQ Certified Lead Auditor is not a must but a nice to have.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Good project management skills.
- Familiarity with the ISO 9001 International Standard and quality systems structuring is not a must but a nice to have.
- Auditing experience is not a must but a nice to have for new and challenging goals.
- Serve as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change.
