Assistant Store Manager

Position: Full-Time Assistant Store Manager

A natural communicator who can easily strike up a conversation with anyone

Maintains excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Someone that is excited to learn about products and share that knowledge with our customers

Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be 18 years or older

Experience in retail or sales management is a PLUS!

Shift and

Schedule:

Monday – Sunday between 10:00 AM – 1:00 AM (Hours vary by location)
Minimum of 40 hours a week

Pay Rate:

Pay is dependent on experience and geographic area Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a background check.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise

Work is performed mainly indoors with occasional exposure to outdoors

Indoor – Air-conditioned building

Outdoor – Exposure varies based on natural elements & weather

Physical Requirements:

Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions

Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers

Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods (may exceed 8 hours)
Ability to continuously move around all areas of the store

Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder, stairs and/or ramp Ability to position oneself to reach and place items on shelves and racks

Ability to observe details at close and far range

Cognitive and Mental Work Requirements:

Must be able to adhere to company policies and procedures

Ability to complete tasks independently

Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly

Responsibilities Modeling excellent customer service, building brand loyalty, and helping associates meet daily and weekly revenue goals.

Implementing merchandising directives and setting up displays to optimize the shopping experience and boost sales.

Help maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Process incoming shipment.

Meet operational deadlines.

Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.

Follow loss prevention controls & guidelines.

Train, delegate, and supervise staff.

Drive & achieve retail sale metrics goals.

Lead store operations while the store manager is off duty.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

High school or equivalent (Required)
Customer Service - 2 years (Preferred)
Prior management experience (preferred)
