As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your presence and routine patrols will provide reassurance to staff and visitors, while your strong communication skills will support positive interactions. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, following established protocols.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

• Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
