As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any security‑related incidents or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas within the government location.
• Assist visitors and employees with security‑related inquiries and access procedures as needed.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

• Possess a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Have experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Have customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
