• Layout, rigging, connecting, bolting, and welding steel by following prints and instructions while guaranteeing all quality and safety standards are met.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Forklift operation for unloading and shaking out steel members.
• Showing up every day to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Layout, cutting, installation, welding, and powder actuated fastening of steel deck.
• Helping newer ironworkers learn the ins and outs of the trade.

• Be able to lift 80lbs and withstand the physical demands of erecting steel.
• Be able to work at heights of 80 feet or more.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening for illegal and illicit substances.
• Have welding experience. A pre-interview test will be conducted.
• Have steel erection or similar construction work experience.

Compensation : $20.00 - $32.00 per hour.
