What You’ll Do:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and service heavy‑duty trucks and trailers
- Maintain, operate, and prepare assigned equipment for safe use
- Complete and track Repair Orders, Work Orders, and Fleet Inspections
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Rebuild and service vehicle systems and sub‑assemblies as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance and special service tasks
- Use testing equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Adjust and test units after repair to ensure proper operation
What We’re Looking For:
- Diesel mechanic experience (required)
- Must have own tools and a willingness to grow and maintain a complete toolset
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools, systems, and computer‑based logging
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including 6‑day work weeks
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening
- Must have basic reading, writing, and math skills
- CDL a plus, but not required
Schedule:
- Full‑time
- Flexible hours, including weekends
