Description
Summary/ObjectiveHave you run a crew in utility installation, underground construction, or excavation? Join Safe Site Utility Services in Glendale, Arizona as a SUE Quality Level A Technician III and put that experience to work in a new way. You'll plan, locate, and lay out small projects, take on the most challenging test holes, and make sure every record your crew delivers is accurate.
With limited oversight, you'll keep projects on budget and on schedule while helping develop the next generation of SUE technicians.
We're especially interested in foremen and crew leads from utility installation, underground construction, excavation, pipeline, gas, telecom, electric, water, sewer, or similar utility work. If you've planned the day's work, managed a crew, coordinated activities in the field, and been accountable for production, you already have the skills that are hardest to teach. SUE experience is not required; we'll train you on the Quality Level A methods, locating, and documentation.
Whatis SUE?
Subsurface Utility Engineering is a structured process used to identify, map, and manage underground utilities during the planning and design phases.
Unlike standard utility locating, SUE goes further by:
- verifying utility positions using multiple detection methods
- assigning quality levels to each finding
- integrating accurate data into engineering and design workflows
Because of this approach, SUE improves decision-making and significantly reduces uncertainty before construction begins.
