SENIOR ASSOCIATE – TAX

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services
• Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and exempt organizations
• Serve as a resource for tax associates
• Participate in tax planning and estimates
• Delegate and supervise the work of tax associates
• Contribute to client service teams by producing quality work with quick turnaround
• Establish engagement letters and compliance frameworks
• Lead tax software and technology process development and enhancements
• Set workflow and timelines for projects
• Conduct performance evaluations for tax associates and help improve their work
• Gather feedback on tax season performance and develop action plans
• Facilitate in-house tax training
• Identify opportunities for additional services in taxation for clients

Additional duties may include assisting in other non-operations work as needed, as determined by senior management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or CA preferred
• 1-5 years of experience as Tax Senior Associate
• Experience managing staff
• Experience in Tax Compliance within the Alternative Investment Industry is advantageous
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Good understanding of financial concepts and tax procedures
• Analytical, detail-oriented, flexible with work hours
