Noncredit Skills Interdisciplinary Adjunct Instructor

The Noncredit Business and Life Skills Division is currently accepting applications for part-time Basic Skills Interdisciplinary Instructors to teach Adult Basic and Secondary Education in the Student Success Center which includes:

• GED/HiSET test preparation
• GCC Adult High School Diploma
• Concurrent High School Credit Recovery/Advancement Classes
• Basic Skills
• College Readiness

• Coach basic skills students in reading, mathematics, and writing
• Create and teach short-term, small group High School Equivalency preparation classes such as:
  • Essay writing
  • Reading comprehension
  • Basic algebra, geometry, and statistics
  • Science
  • Social studies

Masters in any social science, humanities, mathematics, natural science discipline, or liberal studies as appropriate for the course.

Adjunct applications are accepted on a continuous basis for immediate and future hiring needs.

Adjunct pools remain open throughout the academic year to support ongoing recruitment for departmental assignments and can close at any time.
