The Portfolio Manager will work with high-net-worth individuals and regularly convey technical investment information. This role adds a fresh perspective to the team. Responsibilities include supporting the lifecycle of large portfolios, leading project reviews, optimizing standards, identifying improvements, reporting analyses, and training staff. The Portfolio Manager should communicate effectively with high-level business leaders, define KPIs, and create roadmaps for company operations.

  • Constructing successful investment portfolios based on market conditions and economic trends.
  • Buying and selling securities to maintain strategies or achieve objectives.
  • Assessing acceptable risk levels considering client preferences and market conditions.
  • Maintaining client relationships, informing clients about market conditions and research.
  • Meeting with clients to review portfolio performance and objectives.
  • Drafting market commentaries, case studies, and analyses.
  • Evaluating portfolio performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including disclosures, privacy laws, AML, and anti-fraud measures.
  • Staying updated with investment news and economic trends.

Operational Management Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and leading the wealth management division’s investment and client service staff.
  • Collaborating with senior managers on performance goals and operational plans.
  • Analyzing operational processes and recommending improvements.

Experience and Technical Requirements:

  • Four or more years of experience in financial planning and investment.
  • Certification such as CFA, CFP, or CAIA in good standing.
  • Knowledge of securities, insurance, and mutual funds.
  • Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software.
