We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team at IST Management Services in Glendale, CA! Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in shipping and receiving, mail operations, customer service, and a desire to grow their professional career in business services. Hourly Compensation: $18.00-$18.50/hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No nights or weekends!

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will be responsible for receiving, processing and delivering mail and packages.

• Shipping and Receiving Services – Receive and send overnight packages
• Customer Service - Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
• Mail Operations - Sort incoming mail and handle according to established procedures
• Adhere to all safety procedures
• Take direction from the site manager and the assistant site manager
• Participate in cross-training
• Perform other tasks as assigned to uphold client and site needs

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in shipping and receiving, mail operations and customer service.

• Valid Driver's License required
• Prior mail or shipping/receiving experience is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
• Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; ability to multi-task effectively
• Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs
