• Help deliver Business Intelligence efforts.
• Manage existing data extraction jobs.
• Build new data pipelines from various structured and unstructured sources into Hadoop.
• Work with heterogeneous data models, mapping and transformation.
• Use various ORM mapping tools and work with Data as Service (DaaS).
• Orchestrate complex data flows.
• Design and support RESTful Web Services.
• Work independently with limited supervision and contribute to team efforts.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Resolve infrastructure issues in partnership with the Systems Operation Department.

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in the Java Enterprise ecosystem (Design, Development, Test, Deploy on Production).
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop/Hive/Map Reduce/Pig/Sqoop/Flume (Design, Development, Test, Deploy on Production Hadoop cluster).
• Experience with Hadoop/HBase/Hive/MRV1/MRV

• Experience with Apache Spark, Storm, Kafka is preferred.
• Deep understanding of SQL, XML, JSON and UNIX.
• Experience integrating heterogeneous applications.
• Working knowledge of ESB.
• Knowledge of various Open Source tools and technologies in the Java Enterprise ecosystem.
• Demonstrated capability to drive results through effective collaboration.
• Knowledge of data security and encryption models is desirable.
• Knowledge of Data Governance processes is a plus.
• Experience with IBM CDC is a plus.
• Experience with IBM Watson Explorer or Apache Solr is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non‑technical audiences.
• Ability and desire to learn new skills and techniques.
