Product Engineering is a unified team responsible for the engineering of Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms. This includes product and media engineering, quality assurance, as well as engineering behind personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity.

Responsibilities:
- Independently break down large epics and stories into smaller tasks based on stakeholder requirements.
- Contribute to the architecture, development and maintenance of test frameworks and pipelines that verify backend services and APIs across multiple products.
- Develop and support high‑quality code to build and enhance test automation, quality infrastructure, and innovative proof‑of‑concepts.
- Maintain documentation meant for both end users and project contributors.
- Support and mentor junior developers, providing meaningful insight, code reviews and technical direction across the team.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues across our services and drive them to resolution.
- Keep up with industry trends and new publicly available technologies, coming up with innovative ideas and solutions for complex technical problems.
- Serve as an advanced resource for engineers on the team, training and helping others to contribute meaningful and impactful features and capabilities.
- Be an active member of the larger Quality Engineering team, helping increase productivity and impact through innovation, curiosity, and thoughtful debate.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience in a software development in test (SDET or SE) occupation, including automated and/or unit testing of front‑end and back‑end services.
- Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent years of work experience.
- Proficient in object‑oriented design and expertise with one of the following programming languages:
Python, Java, Node/JavaScript. - Experience working with high‑performing teams using Agile and Lean methodologies.
