We are looking for a civil litigator to prosecute cases in state and federal court with a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.

The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. The ability to multi-task while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support is essential in this position. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

The attorney’s primary role will be to litigate from inception through trial, with the support of a full-time legal secretary/paralegal.

Duties include:

• Drafting and reviewing complaints
• Drafting and reviewing responsive pleadings
• Discovery and related litigation
• Appearing for hearings/depositions
• Keeping clients happy by regularly communicating with them

About 95% of the work we do at JT Legal Group is plaintiff's personal injury and about 5% is civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have a personal injury background as they will be handling a personal injury litigation case load.
