About the JobDrama Box is seeking a Director of Public Relations to lead U.S. media relations and external communications during a key stage of growth. This role will shape Drama Box’s public narrative across entertainment, business, and digital media, supporting executive visibility, awards campaigns, and reputation management as the company expands in the U.S. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑moving entertainment company, well‑suited for a senior PR professional who enjoys building in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute U.S. public relations strategy to increase Drama Box’s visibility in the streaming and digital entertainment landscape.
- Manage relationships with Hollywood trade journalists, national business and tech outlets, and relevant lifestyle press.
- Support executive communications, including interview preparation, media briefings, panels, and speaking engagements.
- Draft and refine press releases, media statements, and external messaging to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.
- Plan and coordinate awards campaigns, including submissions, timelines, and external partners.
- Lead reputation and issues management, responding to evolving situations with sound judgment and discretion.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Content, Partnerships, and other stakeholders to align messaging and priorities.
- Manage external PR agencies, consultants, and vendors as needed to scale campaigns.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in public relations or communications, with agency and in‑house experience preferred.
- Experience placing stories with major Hollywood trades (Variety, THR, Deadline) and national business or tech outlets.
- Experience supporting executive communications and high‑visibility media engagements.
- Exposure to awards season campaigns (TV, film, or streaming).
- Strong writing, messaging, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate thoughtfully in fast‑moving, evolving environments.
- Play a meaningful role in building the U.S. public relations function for a growing entertainment platform.
- Gain high‑visibility exposure across media, executives, and global teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the U.S. and Asia.
- Help shape foundational communications strategy during a growth phase.
