Marketing Manager, Marketing Communications, Marketing Strategy
Position: Vice President of Marketing
Location: Southern California preferred with ongoing meetings in Glendale, CA
Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000 with Bonus
Seeking an ambitious and strong mid‑level marketing executive with mortgage experience. As we are ramping up the business, the person should be willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
Responsibilities- Brand development / company image – Our culture and business model geared towards experienced, producing (self‑gen) LO’s.
- Ability to recruit and manage a marketing team to accomplish projects noted.
- Recruiting – Our value proposition (technology, pricing, SLA’s, marketing, support, etc.).
- Direct‑to‑Consumer website – Experience, expertise, technology, pricing, etc.
- Marketing for our existing Loan Officers – As part of our retention plan (includes past clients, referral sources and individual LO web pages to generate applications).
- Marketing of past Borrowers – As part of our borrower retention plan.
- Marketing to Realtors – As part of our LO recruiting and retention plan.
- Social media presence – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, etc.
Presentation and consistency in message is crucial. The ability to develop, implement and manage a marketing plan consistent with our growth plans while supporting the sales force with a consistent and professional message is a priority. The candidate should also be proficient in developing a budget to support the marketing plan, with spending measurable through ROI and clear reporting. Knowledge of Encompass, Surefire (Top‑of‑Mid) and Simple Nexus is a plus.
Other: This is a mid‑level management position with the opportunity to earn a seat at the table in a senior level capacity through proven success and demonstrated management skills.
