American Traveler is hiring an RN
- Telemetry for a Float Pool position requiring Epic experience and the ability to float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units.
- Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Must be able to float between Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units
- Night shift, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, 36-48 hours per week
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty, with recent experience within the last 3 months
- No prior disciplinary action on license permitted
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
- Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care
- Provides patient and family education and health information
- All required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions with no radius restriction
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
