• Provide excellent customer service and perform general customer interactions.
• Operate cash register, process payments, produce receipts, and manage refunds.
• Maintain store sections: receive inventory, stock merchandise, ensure proper pricing, check dates, and keep displays organized.
• Perform sanitation and cleaning of interior and exterior areas.
• Assist customers in loading purchases into vehicles.
• Record lost/damaged goods and supplies for basic bookkeeping.
• Perform other management‑assigned duties such as carry‑out services and inventory receiving.

• Read and write English; interact with public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense and follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25–45 pounds; occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (desired).
• Retail Management Certificate (desired).

The Part-time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties. Specific duties include maintaining store sections, operating a cash register, carrying out services, and store cleaning.
