Automotive Assistant Sales Manager/Closer must consistently and profitably meet vehicle sales quotas through expert management and leadership of the sales team. In addition, the Automotive Assistant Sales Manager/Closer hires, trains, and monitors team member performance; resolves customer complaints; and helps with closings when necessary.
The ideal candidate has some post-secondary education (degree, coursework, certification, etc.), at least two years of experience in a large-volume dealership, and some supervisory or management experience. He or she must have a strong business acumen and sales aptitude and a willingness to accept full accountability for sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong leadership and motivational skills are essential.

- Hires, trains, and monitors team member performance.
- Ensures all sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Manage, train and direct a team of Sales Professionals.

- Learn to overcome objections; ask for the sale; negotiate price; complete sales or purchase agreement; explain and offer warranties service and finance.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have 2 years + proven Assistant Sales Manager /Closer experience (automotive sales experience only need apply).
- Sales experience with verifiable proof of meeting sales targets.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public on a daily basis.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Proficient computer and internet skills.
- Confidence in your ability to be successful.
- A desire to work in a commission, performance-based environment.
- Must be a strong closer with the ability to ask for the sales and follow through.
- Must be a team leader with the ability to train, manage, and build a strong sales team.
