Job Description

As a Security Officer – Residential Patrol Full‑Time in Glendale, CA, you will monitor and patrol assigned residential property areas to deter potential security incidents while maintaining a highly visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or potential hazards within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and management as needed.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or site management.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• A valid guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws.
