Our ideal candidate has the following:

  • 2 years automotive Sales Management experience (USED CAR MANAGEMENT PREFERRED).

Responsibilities
  • Meet monthly forecast for used car sales volume sustaining sufficient gross to meet profit objectives.
  • Create and organize all sales activities for the Used Car Sales department.
  • Ensure that salespeople are informed of all used inventory and current advertising efforts including rebates and incentives. In addition build rapport with them and assist with their sales.
  • Appraise all incoming used vehicles.
  • Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the dealership's cost and time limitations.
  • Establishes and controls wholesaling activities.
  • Work with General Managers to forecast monthly sales expenses.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experience.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Values in all interaction with the customers, co-workers and vendors.
  • Partner with the Financial Services Department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of Automotive Sales Management experience (USED CAR MANAGEMENT PREFERRED).
  • Proficient at operation a personal computer including Microsoft Office:
    Excel and Word.
  • ADP Dealer Services Experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written.
  • Strong take charge leadership attitude with a record of team building to include requiting, training and motivating.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of the local market and auctions.
  • Real attitude with high-energy personality.
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
