Essential Functions- Assemble piping assemblies and supporting strictures per assembly drawings.
- Cut, thread, and install pipe fittings.
- Bend tubing and build mounting stands from materials such as Unistrut or welded angle iron.
- Ensure quality control of assemblies via testing the assemblies upon completion. (Optional)
- Wire components after mechanical assembly (optional).
- Ensure the accuracy of the assemblies based on the design specifications.
- Comply with company-set standards including testing and documentation.
- Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Ensure necessary literature packets are included with the shipment.
- Procure necessary production components from internal stock.
- Ensure assembly is completed within the allotted time frame.
- Taping and painting of completed assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
