Test Technician - 1st & 2nd Shift Temp

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of electronics or PCBA experience (school or work)
• IPC-A-610 knowledge or experience
• Ability to follow detailed test procedures and instructions
• Basic troubleshooting skills (identifying visible defects, solder issues, damaged parts)
• Experience using commercial test equipment (DMMs, basic test heads, fixtures)
• Ability to enter test results accurately
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under supervision
• Understanding of basic electronics concepts (voltage, resistance, polarity, components)

Candidates should be dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Follow test procedures and work instructions for PCBAs and electronic subassemblies
• Perform basic functional tests using automated test equipment (ATE), scripts, or manual methods
• Use commercial test instruments (multimeters, simple test fixtures)
• Perform low-level troubleshooting (e.g., identifying solder bridges, missing components, or damaged parts)
• Assist with maintaining test equipment, such as cleaning probes and verifying calibration
• Document test results, log failures, and notify senior technicians or engineering staff
• Participate as a positive, reliable team member in the manufacturing group
• Support Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
