Electronic Assembler - 1st shift Temp

Overview

Soldering Assessment will be required after the Onsite Interview.

• Assemble electronic components using manual processes, including stuffing, mechanical assembly, hand assembly, and soldering (both lead and lead-free), ensuring all soldering tasks meet IPC Class 3 workmanship standards.
• Minimum 2 year of experience in electronics assembly.
• Class 3 - High-Reliability Electronics (Our most critical work)
  • Highest workmanship standard
  • Required for aerospace, defense, devices, avionics, life-support or safety‑critical systems
  • No tolerance for defects – work must be precise, clean, and reliable
  • Solder joints must be properly wetted, uniform, and completely free of pits, cracks, voids, or contamination
  • Very strict on component alignment, lead trim, solder amount, and cleanliness
  • Typically requires prior experience with IPC‑A‑610 and Class 3 environments

• Must Have hands‑on Class 3 assembly experience.
• Have worked with tight tolerances and strict quality systems.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Are comfortable working under a microscope.
• Understand why Class 3 is held to a higher standard.
• Produce consistent, repeatable workmanship.
• Can explain Class 2 vs. Class 3 differences.
