As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests, engaging with them to help solve their specific needs, and thanking them for shopping  will execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a welcoming experience for guests
• Engaging with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Executing daily tasks to achieve business priorities
• Receiving products, restocking shelves, and organizing the backroom
• Arranging merchandise and putting up promotional signs
• Operating power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures (if certified)
• Changing prices to products, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader
• Learning about operational procedures and their impact on inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
• Being knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the store to solve issues for guests
• Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
