Landscape Technician - Specialty Services

Join the team at David J. Frank, one of the country's leading green industry companies with a reputation built since 1959. We are currently seeking full-time Landscape Specialty Technicians through our Landscape Maintenance Department (LMD) for our Glendale, WI branch location.

This is full-time year-round employment. During the winter we do snow removal, training, and complete maintenance projects.

• LMD Specialty Technicians need a minimum of six months or moreof landscape experience in the field ensuring client satisfaction with quality outcomes in accordance with our production standards.
• Strongplantidentificationskills(annuals,perennials,trees,shrubs) is a must.
• Willingness to learn and improve processes.
• Commitment to safe practices.
• Wisconsin Pesticide Applicators License (Category 3.0) desired.
• Two or four-year degree from an accredited college/university in Horticulture or related fieldis preferred.
• Bilingual - proficient/fluent in Spanish is a plus.
• Required to possess and maintain reliable transportation.
• Required to possess and maintain a valid, non-probationary driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Required to successfully complete a preplacement physical (to include lifting 50 pounds) and drug screen
  .

• LMD Specialty Technicians deliver spring clean-up services, including perennial care and removal of winter protection.
• Installation of potted flowering accent plants.
• Deliver fall clean up and winterization services.
• Assist the company "Interior-scape Department" in the assembly and installation of seasonal displays.
• Conduct spring and fall cleanups.
• Remove snow and ice from November through April (includes hourly snow bonus).

• Weekly pay (compensation is based on industry experience for LMD Specialty Technicians levels I - III).
