As a Cook
, you'll prepare and serve nutritious, high‑quality meals that make a difference for patients, residents, staff, and guests every day.

• Lead and direct staff assisting with meal preparation and service
• Train new team members
• Prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, and other menu items to safe standards
• Create meals that meet dietary and nutritional requirements
• Bake breads, rolls, and pastries
• Maintain accurate food usage and cost records
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment functionality
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to learn and follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Knowledge of food handling and cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently, as part of a team, and under pressure
• Commitment to personal cleanliness
• Ability to obtain Serv Safe Certification and BLS within 1 year

• High school or vocational coursework in food safety
• One year of related experience

• Ability to lift 25 lbs and push/pull food carts
• Strong audio, visual, and communication skills
