The position performs production work, which includes installation of weatherization materials, weather-strips, glass replacement, door replacement, installing water heater wraps and installing insulation; performs duties requiring attention to details, accuracy, and timeliness. Position travels to homes in our 17-county service area to install weatherization material; requires ability to keep clear and accurate records and confidentiality, may deal with difficult clients and deadlines.
Position occasionally works outside normal office hours due to the amount of travel involved.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in residential weatherization and/or the construction business desired.
- Must possess a valid Montana driver's license, liability insurance and availability to travel extensively.
- Willingness to work around potentially hazardous materials and housing conditions.
- Must successfully complete annual background check.
- Requires basic knowledge of building components and installation standards.
This position requires the ability to: climb stairs; carry heavy equipment; operate power tools; communicate effectively orally and in writing; communicate effectively with clients and auditors; listen effectively; follow verbal and written instructions; establish effective working relationship with fellow employees, supervisors, and the public; pay attention to detail and accuracy. Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
