Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including payroll, banking, flooring, and general ledgers.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
• Develop strategies to improve revenue and control expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant state and federal tax laws.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with established timelines and standards.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer financial reporting requirements and internal control procedures.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with department managers to support operational goals and enhance financial performance.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, financial institutions, and tax professionals.

Qualifications:

• Automotive multi dealership experience a must.
• Accounting degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a dealership or automotive retail environment.
• Proficiency in CDK dealership management system excel, word, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
