About the roleRaytheon UK – a global Manufacturing Engineering leader in the Aerospace and Defence industry – is looking for a qualified electronics professional to join the team and work on a range of Test Electronics projects.
As a Senior Product Test Engineer you will demonstrate a range of professional electronics skills such as debugging, working on high reliability electronics products, debugging and fault finding to component level, and delivering products to customers. This role blends electronic test engineering with supporting manufacturing production projects.
Requirements:
Qualified in an Electronics subject at degree, post‑graduate or HND (or equivalent). Knowledgeable in electronics and experience in a defence and/or military environment. Experience in testing & fault finding electronic assemblies to component level, presenting data and displaying expertise is ideal.
- Test lifecycle management
- Presenting data to teams
- Diagnostics, fault finding, debug and corrective action
- Mentoring other staff e.g. diagnostic technicians
- Design for Manufacturing and Design for Test (DFM/DFT) implementation
- Experience with military or high reliability manufacturing electronics
- Challenge status quo, present new ideas
- Work on a range of electronic technologies
